seen these in total vauxhall mag. ive tried doing a search but didnt find anything.
anyone had these fitted to a x14xe?
do they give good power gains?

i think theyre mainly used for giving a better throttle response and allowing the engine to rev more easily. I doubt u d get much gain in power or torque.

the throttle body systems are a bit too expensive for me.
but someone must have used these ones.

im going to modify my throttle body mysefl while i have the engine out, just gunna give it a knife edge and clean it all up, while i wait for throttle bodies.

the basis of this modification is to increase the overall velocity of the air that moves through the body itself which inturn increases throttle response, intake effeciency and take off time

there is no actual power gains unless you up the fuelling also

they inlarge the throttle body opening and fit an increased in size butterfly, yes there are power gains but they will only be small 3-4BHP but every bit counts
