if youve got a mp3 HU mate that plays mp3 cds then yea mate, just copy the mp3's over as you would burn files (ie: make a new data CD and copy the mp3 files to it)

as long as it copies the mp3s onto the cd as data files and NOT convert them to audio tracks (which i think it does mate) then yea
Although i would just get Nero, create a new data CD and drag the mp3s over to it

start nero
use the wizard - pick data disc - then drag songs onto it
can get up to around 140 or so songs onto a disc

there lots of software out mate that can create data cds mate, not just "nero burning rom" Although nero is about the best and does alot of stuff
And yes, its a simple case of creating a data CD with the mp3s on...ie: it data format. Im sure if you do it via media player, it converts the files to audio (so only 16etc's). And with a mp3 cd, you can get around 130 on a 650mb CD (thats with each track being around the 5mb mark).
