They come in ET38 7x17" with 4x100 PCD which is all right, but is the centre bore ok at 72.62?

Thats not bad really is it. Euro stylee often use ET30 dont they?
I imagine with a PSG wide kit the offset shudnt be such a problem?

Wide kit might sort your problems. Check on the bore though. I'm sure Corsa is 56mm-ish but I'm not 100%.

Euro style are usually 14" rims, not 17"s . Personally though, if your going for a wide arch kit, then you might aswell get 18" rims .

Lisa's car has also had pretty major arch work done if IIRC. You can see from the pic there that the rear arshes have been flared out quite a bit. Also she's got rock hard suspension, and no rear seats.

you get spigot rings that sort the centre bore out , but i had a nightmare getting them wheels on vauxgirls car. be a lot easier with a more friendly offset. its just i liked those chrome vibes and 38 was the only offset.

can spigot rings be that big tho? Will the car still drive ok or is it best avoided?
I like em and the likely hood is u will never see another corsa with them on.

You could speak to R-Tec, or anyone whos got a milling machine in fact... Get them to ake a bit off the back of the alloys or the hubs to get the right offset...

I had 5mm milled off the wheels on my old car. Not sure whether i'd advise it or not. My wheels were fine, and never showed signs of cracking or anything, but then they were only on the back so were trailing wheels, so no force as such on the bolt holes.
If like you say your getting the wide arch kit, then you might aswell get them, and you should be fine and they wont rub.

Cracks on alloy wheels will start off underneath the paint and lacquer so they only way you can safely check is to have the wheels x-rayed.
If you're bothered enough by the offset that you're going to get them machined, then they're not the wheels for you.
If you can live with the offset and the increased strain on your CV joints/wheel bearings... then get the wheels.
Remember that having the "right" offset is more than just getting wheels to fit - vehicle manufacturers spend time and money testing a car's geometry, of which the offset plays a vital part.

Nah, there's always a lot of new alloys coming out in ET45-49 offsets!!
Smiths introduced 2 or 3 interesting wheels for 2004 in a decent offset, Tekno have a couple, BK wheels look stunning in Hi Power Black...
There's never been so much choice!
