the old civic vtec has got 160bhp. the non vtec's are crap.

the old civic type r's have got 167bhp but are stripped out and weigh less than a thousand kg which makes them rapid they also have lsd.

i am running a 96' civic and they aint that slow i got the 1.5lsi VTEC 110bhp standard, 1.4sri no prob 1.6gsi usally win, paxo,106gti no problems. not really that slow. Antz1 came in my civic and i showed him the performance he was very shocked that it was a 1.5

New type R has 197bhp, and a lightened fly wheel to reduce 0 -60 from 6.8 to 6.2 seconds. Old 1.6 VTI had 167bhp

I thought the 1.5 did 0-60 in 10 secs? The 1.6 VTi might have the legs on a 106 GTi, I doubt very much that you could beat a 106 GTi 'No Probs' in the 1.5 VTEC.
