Ive just got my gsi vents i ordered from CCM last week and i dont no which way they go on!!any 1 have any ideas?

im not sure if the fat end faces the top or the bottom of the bonnet,

cheers ppl in a bit of a rush as the bodyshop are waiting

sorry of a astra, also should i get them smoothed in the bonnet or clipped on?bodyshop think i shouldnt smooth them in but im not sure. any ideas?
