Ok, got the turbo in today. Cranked it up and WOO HOO.

Runs perfect. Had her boosting up and down my road today with no middle section or front bumper.

Just to see how it went. Needs the fueling adjusted, as she is running very rich. That will be sorted tomorrow on the rollers.

Il post up the graph as soon as i get it.

i think its still running. been so excited to turn it off.

i dunno what it will sound like with the magnex full system but the whole induction, turbo spooling up, dump valve package sounds SWEET!

Il get picks when its properly tidied up.

right now its set at 10psi.

once we play about with it tosee what the injectors max out at.

TBH im not after a super fast car.i want it to be reliable, after all its gonna be an everyday car.

how can u get a 1.4 engine with a turbo? thought u could only have them on 2.0 L's n bigger!

its had a turbo conversion matey, there wasnt a 1.4 turbo, the turbo manifold has been fabricated along with intercooler piping, and inlet etc

ok, old turbo was fucked.

got it replaced with a hybrid one. Turbo technics rebuilt it with a 360 degree thrust bearing etc etc

plumbed it in yesterday, cranked it up and away it went.

I had the front bumper off it and i have still to mate up the exhaust from the down pipe (should be done now) and i went zooming up my road testing out the new turbo. Sounds well, and whataracket with just the down pipe. U hear the turbo spooling up well.

Its running rich but that will be set up on the rollers today.

Thats as far as its gone. should have it back by the weekend.

Photos will be posted when the engine bay has been tidied up. Its covered in oil and i know if i posted them up now, ppl will point fingers.

im assuming it has a custom made s.s systemto mate the manifold with downpipe? and if it wouldnt be too rude, can you whisper a rough price for the new turbo?

wellmated up the down pipe tothe middle section. Tidied up a few things. Plumbing in the boost gauge tonight.

should be on the road tonight. On the rollers for sat morning.
