I lowered a corsa c today, it srubbed like fuck on the front. So i removed the front arches, and wit a stanley knife took away the plastic arch liner that you're on about. I cut most of the top off, and only took off about 3-4inches width. then i trimmed the plastic arch and when re-fitting the arch i only used 1 of the bolts. Its now perfectly fine.

i just fitted a set of 18s on my corsa c at the weekend its not lowered yet, i dont get any scrubs except the front passenger wheel scrubs a wee bit of the inner arch and thats with 4 adults in the car, see if i remove the front inner arches and lower it 40mm
do u guys think it will then rub with 4 adults in the car ?

front or back?
front just pulls off the bumper (think the mount screws go thru it tho, so u mayneed to take them out first)
rear > couploe of bolts in back arch that holds it in and again, its clip'd into the bumper

u'll need to takeotu the arch bolts onthe rear arch and glue the arches on as the bolts catch the tyres slightly...maybe take out or but the inner plastic arch on the rear aswell. Other than that, shud be cool

I find it very strange how the person who's car i lowered yesterday had ET45 wheels but it rubbed like fuck on the front left, i mean serious rubbing. Whereas i have ET40 and mine don't rub on the front at all.
I wouldn't removed the inner arches i'd just trim them like i did.

Like, maybe the arches are are pulled in bit more on one car than the other etc...
