yup i have just got this problem and it is doing my head in. mine will go up then it thinks that there is something blocking the window and then go back down! i have to it bit by bit and the other day it took almost 15 mins just to get the window to go up! any idea y this is? could it be a sensor that has gone?

usually stiff window seals. as goes up if seal tight the pinchguard kicks in and sends it back down. lube the seals

You will probably find - if you look closely at the window rubber just above the mirror - it has started to split/rub through - causing the window to jam and go back down again

this happened to me on my 2003 corsa c. so i just went to vauxhall, threw the keys at them and came back 3 hours later with my window working fine. apparently it was a dodgy motor and replaced it for me.
