Recently when i have had my sub BOOMing away when driving, everything is fine until i get stuck at lights or in traffic. I get no boom from my sub until i start to pull away again. would a new alternator help and would i need a new battery?

Battery, then get a corsa deisel alternator, I think...

dont capacitors help keep power being delivered to the amp. id get one of these if you dont have one.

I take it my standard battery is a bad idea for my rockford 500.2 benched at 786 rms and my 2 audiobahn 750 rms puppies then I hav tto turn it down when i'm at the lights otherwise my acceleration is non existent.
