I know what you mean about losing interest chuck I've felt the same, but I'm determined to get em all done for Donny, then I can spend the rest of the year enjoying the shows and the weekends inbetween instead of being stuck in me garage most of the time making stuff and sanding them
Hopefully when all this lots done, there wont be owt else to do
Yes, I've done these and the front door pods myself and I've got the scars to prove it

Yeah, I thought that just after I typed it
The engine bay DOES need tidying up a tad, maybe with the chrome bits .....

The cloth was a right tw*t to get off. Was proper stuck. Had to do it a bit at a time. trying to get it all off in one go doesnt work. For some reason it came off easier by cutting slits in it with a stanley knife blade and pulling it off in strips.

There may an easier way to get the cloth off. I did try heating it up, but it didnt help.
I used expanding foam to get the whole card level. Blasted it on, left it overnight then cut it down with a large hacksaw blade. Sanded the shape I wanted out of the foam (120 grit. Rougher paper just brought the foam off) Then coated the whole card and foam with resin so the filler would stick.
Sanded the resin slightly just to get it smoothish, then skimmed over with filler.
Sounds a doddle doesnt it

Didnt need to go overboard with the sanding, with them being trimmed, just need to make sure it was level.

lookin good, i also think the front end looks a lot better with the smoked headlights.
Quad headlights made it look a bit cluttered but still looked ace.

Think I've got a new favourite B now. Lovin the boot tv too!

Now come on Claire, u KNOW thats not true!!!

Still waiting for that re-trim
Engine tuning/swap

Then u can do all the engine up.

Theres never anything left to do. Want a fast car, save up for it, the amount of work you've put in, is it really jsut worth stopping? Your just like Donna and me We've all been going on and still doing it for some time now aint we
