OK if it turns out i cant get this god dmaned outlet maniflod of my engine because one of the bolts is fooked, what would you do? this bol could not be any rounder or in a more difficult place to be, the gasket on it is in seriouse need of a change before going into me corsa.



what would you do? get a new head and manifold? or new engine? or keep trying to get it off, or errrr......

grind it off.
get it removed-stud aswell get new studs fitted to the head and your done

what shall i grind it with? it right inbetween the maniflod branches so room is a bit tight!

all the stuuds are off except this one bolt

can u not put a socket over it thats slighlty smaller and use a hammer to bang it on and make a thread or something to then ratchet it off ???

heat it up then hammer on a smaller sized socket on 2 it and that should work

OK got it off the other day!!


it went from being a 13mm bolt to a 9mm!! i hammered the little fucker on and with a bit of luck it cracked and started turning

manifolds off!!
