After a painfull nearly 4 months and allot of money (aint had bill yet) my engine was finally finshed today!!!!!
Just got back from a 140mile trev to strt the running in procedure, its running sweet, didnt know a GSI engine could idle so quietly, lol,
Havnt taken it above 4000RPM yet and taking it easy but as the miles go on i could almost feel the engine loosenin up, it really wanted to go, i carnt wait till its run in now!!!
So no more moaning i am happy at last, just gotta sort my skirts and rear bumper now

will do it this weekend its been sat round for nearly 4 months so is a bit dusty, gonna finish polishing the cam cover then its picture time, throttle bodies next

lol, yeah cool movie, had engine re-built, rebore, bigger pisons, reground crank all lightened and balance fly wheel matched to crank, cranks been deseamed, ne weverything basically, stainless manifold, chip, power box, ported polished head, 6 stage valve seats cut, the works its the getting here thats been not so fun had a few hiccups, like 2 engine blocks, 4 cranks ect 3 re-builds

Im hoping for 150+BHP gonna get it on the rollers after 1000miles to be safe see what the baby can do, anything over 145 i will be chuffed with any less will be a dissapintment, there are a couple of C16XE's with less done that have pulled 160BHP+ so we wil have to see, every engine is different
