Got a 94 1.4 SRi and took it to a garage cos i thought i needed a new head gasget and he took the engine apart and said there were holes in the bores like about half and inche big!! Now i need to get a whole new head, valves and god knows what else! Gonna cost £££££££££ aint it?
Anyone got a spare SRi engine handy??

You could probably have my C14SE engine cos i am having the 2.0 conversion, but im pretty sure my head gasket has gone. Might be cheaper to fix than all your problems though.

check ebay for an engine saw a 1.4 on there for bout £150
