Hi, on Saturday i Had a Refurbed Starter Motor Fitted, as the old 1 was shot.
I also fitted some NGK Multi Electrode BKR6EK Spark Plugs in this morning.
But i'm still having a problem where i turn the key and the Starter motor goes for like 5 or so seconds then the car starts, where as when i got the car in july last year it started right when the key was turned!?
What could be the Problem and whats could be the solution?
By the way its a 1.0 12v (Has No HT Leads!)
Thanks, Your Help is much Appreciated

Well for one thing its colder now than it was in July so it will obviously find it slightly harder.
5 seconds does suggest something else could be wrong though.
Are the plugs gapped right?
Is your accelerator too tight? On my 1.2 16v (similar engine) it struggles to start if you have any pressure on the throttle.
Any other problems once its running?

Nope Runs fine when Started!
Plugs are Gapped Right, also Tightened them to the recommend Torque.
Just Found another bit in the Haynes, saying Spray all the Connections with WD40/Water Repellent Spray, will try that in a minute.
