I have two days (Next sunday/monday) to swap a 1.2 spi for a 1.4 spi, should I have a go?
I think I will be following the haynes to the letter.

Car is going at the end of summer. I think it will be easier to sell with the lower mileage.

The engine may have lower miles but the body, wheel bearings and other components will still be carrying 124k's worth of use, so you couldn't really sell it as a low milage car.

1.2 crankshaft bearings are going. I think that's a good reason to do it.

Drained the oil, tonight. I managed to lift it up high enough on my own to drain it.

I'll put the old engine back in, and then sell it. Well before its MOT. This will allow me time to service it properly.
