Pulled the head off the nova last night after work. However, on insopection my bottom end is afflicted with undersized pistons, a common fault on the early XE's. So now I need to get new piastons to carry on as they won't last long on a tuned engine. so do I go for forged race job so I can put in very lumpy cams and aim for 170BHP, orrrrr std pistons and live with 140ish??
Or dump it all and go down the filthy 2L XE route like Danny??
(P.s the 170BHP 1.4 would be faster than the 2L option)
