Do the skirts actually fit properly tho? You can't blame the bodyshop when the skirts wouldn't have fitted anyway. I have had skirts like this before, it looks bodge but there aren't many ways round it often

I have to agree it does look a bit shoddy, it just annoys be when people blame the bodyshop for stuff that is out of their control

Thats doesn't mean he should get his car back in a mess. If it needed work to fit, they could have contacted the owner and said that it needs more work to fit, meaning it'll cost "X" amount more, rather than just doing a shit job.

tbh looks like they cut it back too far, and then rather than fix it they just gummed the hole up with black crap!

I doubt they cut anything, just tigersealed along the edge they were supposed to and fitted it. And the reason u notice more is because tigerseal is available in black, grey and white. Meaning whatever colour they used would be noticable on your car. But i agree they could have spent more time getting it right

normally skirts come with a straight edge that the shop or u have to cut to shape to arch, so u can get a snug fit.
And i know tigerseal is coloured, surely tho anywhere doing a decent job wud smoth it and paint over it and up the side of the car so u cant see it anymore...

i wanna know the end result, because as others have sed, looks like they couldnt be bothered to put the extra work on to make them fit right. ive just finished fitting my skirts and i honestly think they were the worst fit ever made. i spent 2 days on each side to make them right, but in the end i got there and the finish i wanted has been achieved

if the fit of the skirt was sh1t we normally cut them as close as possible them run a bead of tigerseal along the edge to tidy it up and then paint the bead, looks so much better. Get them to do that

The bodyshop that fitted my combat 1 sideskirts took them 2 days to fit, and they used white tigerseal. I wasn't pleased at all when i collected my car, but ive painted the white tigerseal red, and the look a bit better now.
