if i get 1 12w3v2 sub with this amp, will the amp be too powerful for the sub?
the RMS for the sub is 300 whereas amp is 500RMS

yes amp would be to powerful for the sub either get two subs or a 15" sub which is 500 w rms

too much power isnt a problem as such if its set up properly and is deffo better than too little power.
Get it then u can always add another sub later.

It will be more powerful in theory, but then you just set the gains so it's not going to blow the bugger up.

Alternatively I'd get 2 W3's and that amp - that's what I did and I love it
