as there any way to adjust how muich the bolt sticks out through the moddle of break disks ect, duno what its attacked to, but a shop said about adjusting the drive shaft, because it sticks through my wheel about 5mm too far for me to fit on the center caps.

also had the same problem with the rear, the grease cap come through, though my centre cap fits on if i take the grease cap off, is it ok to do that ?

tis ok to take the cap off the front but not the rear

the cap wasnt on the front anyway, what about removing it and just greasing it myself every once and a while

the big bolt your onnabout on the front is the end of your cv joint and unless your a master with an angle grinder i wouldnt bother touching it

well aslong as it stays greased i spose it will be ok .. but it might get messy once your wheel spins up

why do thye fit on some other corsas at the front, thats the thing, even other 1.2 8v's the same year, same wheels and same centre caps, infact the exact same wheels, ICY i bought them off, he got the front on, he got same engine as me, 1 year newer thats only diff, he just diidnt have the rear 1s on

so have caps some dont ... some get lost buy garages when the go in for work ... there only dust caps

are they only to stop dust at the rear ? so i dont need them othen because the cnetre caps o nthe alloys will seal it,

now for the front again... lol

not even the std dust caps, like th e2s that were on the rear will fit on the front becaus ethe rod sticks out that much

It's the stub axle, and you can just hacksaw it down apparently and then taper the end again (so you can actually get the nut on/off after sawing)...

Also with the rears leave the dust cap on, but just cut the clips off the centre cap and use a bit of silicone to stick it on

easy fix - put spaces on but then will rub on arches and fk up et

u can take cap off - but grease will cover the inside of ya alloy. the caps or on to stop dust getting into the wheel bearings and to keep the grease in

ill try and bash the top of the grease caps in or something, even if i cut the clips off it and stuch it on with glue it wold still be fucked, it sticks out about 5mm

they are MASItaly VT5
