You'd lose it - as the engine bay isn't big enough.

you could always just open your windows. Saying that, the reason I won't put a 2.0l in is 'cos I don't want to lose mine!

I have got aircon and am doing the conversion, i never use my aircon tho, cos IMO its shit. Not powerfull enough and plus it saps the power from your engien and uses muccho petrol. If you got big wheels, turning air con on can slow you down so much its silly. I never use it.

Engine bay isnt big enough apparently as mav says.

im not sure how big the unit is, but on my corsa i have hardly any glove box space because of it. so i imagine its pretty bulky, but who knows im not that mechanically minded so maybe you can im not sure what the unit for the LET looks like!

behind the glove box is the condesner, the compresser is in the engine bay and runns off the crank, even with my little 1.4 sport and air con there's no room, so i aint suprized theres n e room with a xe

It may also be something to do with the size of the radiator and all the pipes at the front of the car was well as at the back.

Not sure.

There is no room as everyone has said. I'm looking for a solution too, will let you know if I find one.

All automotive aircon pumps are belt driven too, so you can't just get an electronic one. Well so I was told.
