I'd be very interested to see a modern diesel run a rally. I think it would do ok.

Diesels are even becoming more popular in car racing over the world now as well!!!

Fifth Gear recently ran a Fabia VRS TD, against the new Mini Copper (not turbo), and it beat it round the anglesea race circuit b about 3 secs.

No messing around, it won hands down.

Golf GT TDi rally cars have about 205bhp. Was one in Performance VW.
