when they pull u over, say u dnt have tax or mot, will they know, evan if u have a tax disc in the window just off another car,

like when they chek the reg plate, will it say it aint taxed or mot'd or will they only know if they look at the disc and see the plates are different??

they'll check to see if the Reg no. on the tax disc matches the car.

They'll give you a producer to check if you have MOT,insurance and licence.

i got away with no tax for quite a while

never got round to gettin it!

they have new computers on board the police cars where they run through your number plate which shows if the cars taxed and legit.

they just PNC your car through the radio to the operator, who can check if your tax has expired and can check the insurance policy and any named drivers.

You can be arrested for having a tax disc off of another car!!

firstly for using a false instrument and secondly on suspicion of the theft of the tax disc!!

You are a pikey if you try this!!

All checks are done through the PNC (police national computer) some ANPR carscheck it automatically throughthe number plate. VEL expired markers etc are placed on the vehicle when it has no tax etc etc

Yeh but at high speeds you could be a danger to other road users if your wheel fell off and your car swerved and crashed! You could have been killed or a fellow motorist!

Think he was well within his rights actually
