I dont have any need for anything else, I have my own websites, and design/maintain websites and sell webhosting, so free space is wasted. I am a part time photographer and will have my own site shortly with my work. Email- comes with the websites I own. I only needed it for signitures, so its not worth £12.50 just for a signiture.

Not a bad idea, then I would have a sig on every forum I visit.

Some people miss the point
You pay the £12.50 to support the site - afterall they're paying for the large hosting and using their own time to keep the site running.
As a Extra bonus they give you things like a sig, a gallery to upload pics, a avatar, a email address and many premium discounts with insurance / styling / etc
The point is to support the site mate - too many freeloaders around these days.

- When I was talking to snowy about him becoming a premium member he said the same as RWD, got hosting elsewhere so don't need it.
Just people really don't get the idea of it. If the site doesn't get any financial support it goes bust. The bandwidth used by this site with all the pictures and page views must be absolutely massive! = big cost.
Even with premium membership I'm sure Tim + Ian aren't making a profit. Plus they've put in many hours adding things that people have asked for.
but if there was a button that just said 'donate' - no one would, so they've chucked in a couple of bonus goodies to make you feel you've got more for your money.

No offence mate but I doubt the bandwidth your forums are using are anywhere near this site - plus the database size with all members details etc would also be of a incredible size.

its no where near as big as this site, yet. I can see why they are doing it, but its not for me. sorry. They are laods of sites that expect you to pay when online, I come online for enjoyment, not empty the bank, and if I had to pay for every forum I posted on, I would owe thousands of pounds.
