loads to it
its the same as the taxis near up having them on the rear veiw mirror

someone told me its so when they try and fire the speed gun at ya it dosent read as reflected back

I think RST owners do this so the horn looks chrome/polished or something.
I've seen it loads on cars, looks tacky in my opinion.

Apparently the asian taxi drivers have a cd with their bible thing on it hanging from the mirror, meant to bring them luck...

Still doesnt explain the need for a decorative tissue box on the parcel shelf tho...

Er... The whole reason the police guns work is because a beam of light is shot at the car and reflected back. The gun works out the speed by doing speed = distance/time and wehey you get caught speeding. So sticking a CD there is gonna actually hepl the police catch you

Actually a police laser gun works by sending a beam towards the car from a distance, and like ED said work its out by doing distance/time for the beam to get back to the car. Also police usually point the gun towards the bumper of the car, so a CD where the horn is will do jack
Only way to overcome a laser gun is to slow down (and do the right speed) or by a jammer, which works by sending a laser beam back to the gun at the same frequency and therefore causing an error to come up
