i'm doing a service on me car on sunday, with replacing the fuel filter, do you need to crimp the hoses at either end?

i'd thought yes but not 100%, plus i'll have to buy crimps!

Crimp the hose clamps? Just use fuel hose clamps with screws. Is that what you mean?

The filter has push clip on the fuel line for it, jsut have to be careful not to break them gettign th eold one off, only a 5mins jo once on ramps. a small knife works well.

miles, yer sort of.

j1400,yer, changing the filter is a simple job, but do you have to crimp the fuel lines?

yeah or fuel will come out, just fold it over or crimp it with soem pliers for a while

Changed one on a 93 Sri original filter at 78000 miles Nightmare to get off, Fuel pipes arent flexible so u'll have to "squash" them back to rouad if u clamp em.
