...My '96 Corsa Sport is badged as an Si? Never seen another one like this, and i dont mean on the tailgate. Any ideas?

I've seen the ones on the tailgate, but it doesnt look like its had any badges on the tailgate. Its got 'Si' before the red strip on the side.

I've only ever seen SRi's badged up as "Si"s on the back.

On the side however, thats summat weird.....should be SRi. Get some pics up!

the si was a 1.4 spi 8v engine!

ALL Sri's were originally badged Si on tailgate, whether they were 8v or 16v.

but the ones with si on the doors were 8v spi engines

To my knowledge there has never been a car with Si badges on the side from the factory.

Its not an SRi as its too new, and it showed up as a Sport on the HPi. The Si is a Vauxhall badge, its the same as u get on the mk3 astras. Doesnt look like there have been any badges on the tailgate apart from a vauxhall sticker maybe.

si was a 1.4 8v SPi, same as the 1.4i nova
