Just rung up about tracking on my wheels and the clutch pedal needs adjesting again, bloke said could be you clutch on its way out, and a new 1 from vauxhall

£500 - £600

What are my other options?

i just had a new clutch fitted, and had the cmaber and tracking done after i fitted my coilovers, came to a total of £220 including a road test.

can pick up a brand new clutch for £43......and fit it yourself....tracking is about £20

£43 for a clutch?! I didnt have time to fit it myself, as i would have to learn on the way. Im paying £5.60 a day to insure my car, and the clutch went the day after getting the 2 litre so i really wanted to get it back on the road asap!

a local place near me called sewells sell parts for all different cars

clutch prices vary from aroun £36-£50

Yeah Ive been driving over 2 years claim free but only have one full years NCD at the moment, Trying to sort out the other one, which will bring it down to £1826. Still a lot of money though!

oh yeah, and that includes £192 interest for paying it monthly, only saw how much interest it was the other day, so am prob gonna pay it all in one go too.
