i was adopted when i was 4 1/2, soon as i turned 18 - i could legally seek my biological family. i managed to track down all sorts of info. i found out my moms name ( guadalupe santos) found out my birth name was chanel lynn santos and was changed to ashley when i was adopted so i have now legally changed my name back to chanel. i found out my dad was a hawaiian navy man who died when i was 7. i'll never get to meet him, but at least i know its not his fault hes not in contact now. i now know that i am half mexican and half hawaiian. unfortunatelly my mom i slocked up so i wont get to meet her until she gets out. ive met my biological auntie and cousins - its such an amazing feeling to have finally met them!!! just thought id share my joy with you guys!!!
