abnormal combustion, causes a fair loss of power in some cases. causes increase in cylinder pressure, make the pistons, con rods and bearings to resonate

usually caused by sharp edges on the piston or in combustion chamber, when i stripped my cylinder head i noticed a few edges on my pistons, which made me go for forged ones
other causes could be carbon deposits in the combustion chamber, or on the piston top and decreades volume at top dead centre which raises compression ratio
