quick stooooopid question prob.....

but is there a way of checking whether ur car has power steering or not?

with the engine off, turn the wheel slowly from left to right or right to left, whilst turning start the car and if the steering gets lighter as the engine starts you got yaself power steering if it stays the same resistance then you havent.

If it's a Corsa B then look under the bonnet to the right hand side behind the headlamp where you will find the power steering fluid resevoir. It will be black with a black screw cap lid and about half a litre capacity so you can't miss it if it is there.

If it's a Corsa C you'll have electric power steering as standard.
