dave,
looks really good in there mate, i done the same in my carlton, only not got any decent pics up yet, some nasty phone type ones in my garage but keep meaning to get something proper up!!
May be worth bearing in mind, with my liliput screen i was supplied with a 240 - 12vDC smoothed power adaptor and also a 12v DC -12v DC adaptor. the latter of the two proved very unreliable and was causing the screen to keep crashing.
Yours may be okay, prob just mine! but if you do get problems would be a good place to start looking, was causing the pc to crash and all sorts of problems!
Now running the screen off the +12V rail off the PC power supply and all sweet as a nut with sugar on top!
Anyways, soz for the essay!

Cracker job chum. Often considered this myself. What halted my efforts was the wish to have dvd drive built into dash which unfortunately would be run off an IDE cable which even more unfortunately has a maximum length of just over a metre ish.
Still lookin at other possible ways to do it but theres no device to act like a repeater for an ide cable on the market.
The case is lookin well sweet mate, cant see wat u mean by a bad but atall from the photo. If its noticeable in person maybe a wee filing will sort her out.
Keep it up chum.

May help people if you also put a run down of what everything cost ya so they would have a rough idea for themselves if they want to venture into doing something of this.
Links to places to buy the kit may help too.
