Had a newer mixer and headphones for awhile now but have still been stuck with crappy decks for a bit so got halfway to rectifying the situation by replacing one of them with one of these

Technics SL-1210 MK5

Me well impressed, sooo much better than the old shitty Numark jobby!

Also bought a couple of new tunes, nice recommendations IMO...

Matt Hardwick V Smith & Pledger - Connected (Original Mix)
MK-S - Illuminate (Original Mix)
Cloud Nine - Transmission (G&M Project Remix)
Paul Van Dyk - Crush (The Paul Van Dyk Remixes) (Vandit Club Mix)
John Askew - Skylab (Original Mix)
Paul Mendez - 2nd Skin (Geert Huinink's Crushing Remix)

Winner!

Cheers peeps

Dom - yeah it's pretty kewl, nothing too wild but a good solid 3ch mixer with 3 band EQ on each channel, kills, etc. Can't really knock Vestax kit TBH.

Just need another 1210 now and I'll be sorted Another £400 though

Bad colour on their pics though, tis a goldy finish.

As for the decks, I must admit it is taking a bit of getting used to - soo much more torque than the previous ones, but so well built. They weigh a bloody ton, pretty much can't make them skip and any pitch adjustment is instant.

prefer the Stanton ST150 myself as it can take a real beating and keep spinning but the MK5 is a sweet turntable.

I love this though!

i want a couple!!

Mist - aye nifty stuff, not toooo expensive though eh!

Joe - mainy uplifting and progressive trance but also like things with a nice bit of bosh to 'em, but not quite as hard as hard house.
