for a 1.8 16v mondeo.... i'm gonna buy one (or maybe the 2.0 16v but the insirance is £400 more) (2.0 is 9.8)

thats bloody slow really, but you cant measure a cars performance on 0-60. ST's arent anything special either. look for something else.

I wee'd all over a mondeo earlier... 2.0l 16v.... and he gave it some dont want ne1 debating btw just commenting

But then agen on the pull away I am quickert than my Dad's 2.5 V6 mondeo but about 50mph he passes with ease

They slow on the take of but mid-range the V6 kick in its wicked fun hearing it.. daddy takes on cars like top of the range alfa's, merc's, beemas even had a go at a porsche

the V6 mondeo has some secondary inlet manifolds which kick in at about 4,000rpm and then they seriously fly!!

2.5 v6 0-60 is 8 seconds

You have a 1.2 16v corsa don't you? that must do it around 11.5-12 secs... 10.5 aint much better is it.

Yes i have 1.2 16v, the book figure for 0-60 is 13.5 seconds apparently.

Also the 1.8 16v will do 121mph whereas my corsa struggles to do 95mph (on my 10 miles long private road of course).

I got 1.2 16v can get 0-60 in about 11 secs with spare wheel out and subs. not bad i think for 1.2? yeah mine used to struggle to hit 95 but took it in for full Service filled up with optimax and got 118 on m27! heavy although i was shit scary.

the most i got was 112 on the way to the national meet on the m1 snowy got the same was fun but the car didnt seem to like it

your speedo is way out matey. More like 105, if that. corsa 1.6 only does 119 flat out
