right two of my mates have been together for about 7 month now, they always argue specially when drinking, both work bar jobs, shes 19, hes 21, can barely afford to look after themselves and still live at home with parents, he used to try but cant afford his car anymore so got rid of it. shes now pregnant and shes keeping it, they say if they both quit smoking they'll be fine, am i the only one who thinks they're fuckin daft?

TBH they have made a mistake, but it would be an even bigger one to have the kid aborted. It's a living thing, no matter how old it is. They obviously need to decide though, whether they can look after the kid, but if they cant then maybe adoption, but abortion just aint the way. I'm not against taking the morning after pill and all that, thats fair enough, its just another form of contraception, but when the kid is already growing inside you, I dont know how a woman could give that up. Thats just my opinion. But i reckon ur mates should get better jobs that pay more if they wanna keep the kid, easier said than done I know, but there are plenty of jobs out there that will pay more than bar jobs that are easier to get, just not as fun. Congrats to em tho

I nearly had this happen, got my ex preggers when she was 16, and she had a still birth in the end.

Think it was the best thing that could happen thinking about it, even though it's a horrible thing to say, neither of us were ready for a kid and it wouldn't of had the life i'd want my kids to have.

Still think about it though, would have been 3 by now (Awwwwww)

Anyways, it's a tough choice, but i think that they shouldn't have the child because it won't have a decent upbringing.

Not us. I'm nearly 24, not 21, Lynn is 17 & not 19. I still have FRST. Earn a nice salary & neither smoke.
Plus the fact we are no longer together.

dont think people realise how much people spend on smokies, bet they could save 15quid a week just by quitting between them, over 9 months at 4weeks a month(obviously) they could save some decent spendo for the young un'

Thanks for your opinion Jason, but it doesn't concern me at all.
What exactly do you have a problem with it, is it illegal?

I agree with Andy, why have people got hangups about age? if a guy who is 17 was with a 24 yr old would anyone care?? he would probably be the envy of his mates?

Well my parents don'y have much money, we had our house repro'd when I was about 8 and we're homeless for a ear and half, living with aunties and uncles! brought up in the worst council estates hull has to offer and I consider my self to have turned out very well and wouldn't change my childhood for the world!

only they know what is right for them , so be supportive and not negative all the time!
