When i was driving back from MK last night i decided to go through a village, luckily.

When we were going through the village we noticed the roof on a thatched roofed 600 year old pub was on fire, so rang the fire rescue and then started banging on the windows to get anyone inside out. Then the owner and another man came out, and said they didn't realise it was on fire and could have been asleep.

What a nice feeling

You don't really go around saving peoples life though and then braga about it, or even expect thanks... It's the done thing, you don't leave somone to die, cos they might not say thatnks...

Yeah but how many people would know what to do if some old fart had a heart attack in front of them. Even if you knew what to do would you be able to keep calm. I did all that first aid crap but luckily never had to use it.

As for hanks I'm sure they had other things on there mind at the time but it is pollite to say thanks
