Reet folks,
I'm wantin to start kitting up my car by doing the sounds System.
I know very little but my mate has recommended the following, can you tell me if he is speaking sense?
He says I want the Following:
CD/MP3 Player
AMP
1x 4channel Multi Channel Amp for 4 speakers
1x Mono Amp for sub
SUB
1x Enclosed Sub
SPEAKERS
4x Full Range
Sticking to the following "Brands"
sony
kenwood
clarion
jvc
blaupunkt
alpine
Is he right? and how much do you think the complete package would range from?
Is it easy to fit or would i be better gettin a Pro (no not a hooker) to do it and how much?

Tbh best bet is an alpine hu, focal front comps, 2 ch amp for them, a mono and a single decent sub JL,Diamond, RE etc... of a size that suits the music u like.
Gonna cost £800+ tho, and thats a basic system.
If u r really strapped for funds, then u can do a lot worse than alpine speakers/subs/hu and kenwood amps.

I've got about £500 at the minute, my mate reckons he got his done for less than £500, but I'm not sure what he has.
I'm into all kinds of music except Mosher and pop Shit.
Michael Jackson will be played the most though

id say a 12in re or jl sub!! a set of comps h/u and 2 amps will do ya

filby have u heard a set of focals.
They dont look better they SOUND better, the difference between the polyglass and the alpine type-r comps is astounding.
They are not even in the same kind of league. If people want good sound u want a good set of comps, a single decent sub and good amps to power them both. Thats all.
