I've jus won a TD engine on ebay for £51! Is it easy to fit instead of a NA Diesel? Or will it be easier to swap the turbo stuff around inlet/ outlet manifolds etc?
is there anythin else to consider?
what would the insurance be like as opposed to a NA diesel?
I reckon it should jus drop straight in, cos purely mechanical, I need a fuel pump aswell I think.
Well chuffed tho, been lookin 4 1 of these for ages
Its off a nova by the way so would this make it any different?
Answers please

you need to do the whole engine
Mine started out as a 1.5D and i fitted the turbo, it only lasted 1 year, this may be becase it was on 110,00 miles but i think part of the reason is:
1.5D = 22:1 compression
1.5TD = 21:1 compression
So by adding the turbo you are effectivly increasing the compression to 24:1 or higher?? which isn't good unless you want your own smoke screen, mine was ok at first until it started pouring out blue\white smoke when ever i slowed down.

straight swap, use the 1.5d engine mounts and just basically make the 1.5 td look like the 1.5 d apart from turbo etc..
oh, you may need a corsa td inlet as the nova airbox is on the other side of the engine bay.

green do an induction kit for the corsa td which moves it too the other side of the engine bay like i have done with mine. it might be the more expensive one.
