you'll be surprised what they write cars off for these days

the damage from wot i can see will be new wheel and tyre, slam panel, front panel, headlight, bonnet, inner wing, wing, inner arch trim, and the bumper!

They shudnt write it off because its a newish car but believe me their daft like that

It isn't daft tho mate, new cars are designed to crumple if they aint safe enough to be repaired or if it's not economically viable then what's the point?

if hes somehow managed to buckle the chassis then it will need to be put on a jig. most insurance companies would probably just write it off

If the chassis is damaged the insurance company will claim it a write-off. Air bags also cost alot to be done, think of new dashboards, and the airbag units themselves aren't cheap at all

Must of been driving carelessly though to crash on a dry road in broad daylight unless of course he had a massive blow out or a serious mechanical failure

You never know, freak things can happen. A while back i was taking a rountine right hand corner on a mini roundabout that i drive through most days, was going about 5/10 mph max as i had to give way for a car coming out from the right, started to turn in; and totally lost any steering capability for about a second or two.

Scared the shit out of me, can only presume that there was some kind of oil or slippery substance on the road.
If theres no one coming from the right you can take that roundabout at around 25mph (tight right hander) without trouble. Had i been doing that as usual i would have been straight into a wall

Had the power steering checked out aswell because it was so random, but that was fine.
Basically just saying that these things can happen, 99% its down to driver error; but once in a blue moon unexpected things can happen.

P.s it was dry as a bone on the road too.
