basically when there is spare power in the system, they chage up and when their is insufficient power they discharge smoothing power delivery to the amps.....

In theory anyway but u do need a good electrical system first really.

However i do want one as well as batt/alt and wondered if this one was any good??

Seems good to me. I paid £70 for my 1 farrad cap, and that is a lightning audio.

Yes i have seen boss before, and just to confuse you, there are two companies called boss, and this company is the budget one i'm afraid

Might be worth going for the PG Ti if its at a decent price
