is it possible to fit an engine into the back of a corsa for transporting it or would i have to rent a van

and its a 16v engine

and my car is lowerd 60mm would it make any difference to carrying an engine

its gonna scrub but it will be ok to do it

make sure you put some sheets of sumat down as engines are quite messy

already lowered 60mm, an engine in the back might scrub quite a bit. Not talking from experience though, and to be fair, i could have a car full on my 15s lowered 60mm with no scraping. hhhmmm...pointless post by me!

so i should maby just throw the standard springs back on for the journey as its quite a long journey

oh and would the engine and gearbox need to be split before they would go in or could they stay intact

The 16v engines weigh around 100kg, which isn't even the weight of two people.

it will also still fit with the top-end attached. would be best to remove manifolds incase it rolls so not damaging anything.

engine&box in the back will weigh less than 3 passengers & ice...

i was lowered 60mm on 15's and never had scrubbage with 3 people in the back, but may differ depending on your wheels/drop
