Wanna back up some of the films i bought in HMV today; and I innadverantly converted to avi. on my PC... Anyone know any free software floating about to do this???
All have found are ones that put a logo in the middle of screen...

You want AVI to VCD convertor, this will change it to a *.mpg file that can be burnt to CD or DVD...

It does take a while - but converting everything and splitting the audio and video streams then matching them back takes longer than just using the proggie above.

Nero vision express is the easiest. Not the quickest but it does everything for you.
