because i work in the city centre.. its ALL pay & display parking
and bcoz i start work @ 9:30.... all the free (behind YMCA ) and Black meters are taken)
black meters are cheap ones
so i had to use a Red meter
9:30 --> 1:30 (my lunch time) £3.20 i paid to aprk this morning
thing is,, i dont wanna do that EVERY day- coz iy'll add up obvioulsy and turn out just too expensive

How far do you work from home? Cheaper to get a bus.

i was working on saturday so parked in a car park in notts city centre.
was at work for 6 or so hours, trouble is i did realize the car park was 50p per 15 mins!!
so i get back to the car park and it tells me its £9.70 as thats the max it can be for a day!
i got work to pay it though

walk walk walk ...
i didnt buy a car to just look at it
takes 2secs to get here-
no traffic!
just no parking spaces either-
thing is, i finish work at 6, and if i walk half hour home, then i only have 45mins to shower/change/ eat till i have to leave for my 2nd job
that extra 30minutes is vital to me

our work car park is for people who have worked there for years thats free to park in too but the only other place close to work without a 10-15 min walk is the multi storey car park next to our office block, £3.80 a day keep meaning to get a permit thing too but the accounts dept. is always "too busy" to sort anything for any1
