How much do you think I will be looking at for the following.
New rear panel fitted
New arches welded in
Suspension turrets plated and welded up
Little bits of welding here and there
Inside arches sprayed black
Undersealed
Engine bay sprayed up
Little bits of welding here and there
Full re-spray in Vauxhall Glacier white.
I have a figure in my head I just wondered what you lot think.

You reckon? I know the paint will cost near to nothing, its just the welding and prep work that takes the time and money.
Going to get it done at S&T Coachworks, I have put £1500 into savings for it so looks like I might have over budgeted
Wicked if thats the case, but S&T are quite expensive but there work is always superb.

Not seam welded, its only a X16XE and it weighs about the same as the old 1.4 8v block that was already in there.
The only bits I want welded are the tops of the suspension turrets and where the engine mounts meet the bodywork.

Is the car already stipped out olly? This should save some labour as they wont have to strip it out. I could probably do it for you if it comes to me stripped out

Na its not stripped out, I want all the windows removed etc when its done.
I reckon about £1500 still, and I really want S&T to do it.

Yes strip and prep it as much as you can yourself - this is where you will save tones of money that way
