I'm just in the progress of building a Corsa C Tarmac Rally Car with a mate - At the moment he runs an Astra GSI with a Bowyer Developments 260 ish engine and Quaife Dog box/ Proflex etc -

The engine has since being rebuilt to a higher kitcar spec - with barrel throttle bodies !!!!
However - A six speed sequential dog box is on order from Holland (about 12 grand !!!!!)
This, with the engine out of the Astra will end up in the Corsa - Running Super1600 bodykit, but with fibreglass wings/bonnet/tailgate/doors
All in all is should be a lightweight flier !!!!
What I'm after is as much information/pictures on any Corsa C rallycars/Rallycross etc to assist in the build and possible problems/solutions we may come across
I've already been on the http://www.corsasuper1600.com/ website - but you require a password etc to gain access to the build details
Any help is greatly appreciated

Hiya,
I recently purchased a whole interior for a corsa c who is also currently building a "C" rally car,
He is going to be putting a 1.6 in his and tuning it in a similar way to that of the super1600 C,
He has been extremly lucky to get the whole super1600 kit and his car looked awsome when i went to pick the bits up from him,
His name was Paul Richards if i remember correctly,
He lives down near Torquay and was a great chap, really down to earth and really did know about his rally cars,
the way he done it was to buy a scrapped C which had ben writen off and just used the parts he needed,
the things he didnt need he sold on and then just junked the shell.
He since bought a brand new shell from vaux and has had the offical kit fitted,

The company that's suppling us with the Kit has not officially released it yet - they've only just got the mould - We are suppling a bonnet and tailgate for them to replicate in Fibreglass/Carbon/Kevlar !!
When It's official - I'll post pictures and prices !!
