hello

i've brought a gear shift surround and now planning to buy a gaitor and gear knob. do i need a sleeve for the lift up reverse? what is the sleeve for?

the sleeve is to lift a mechanism to let the car go into reverse, hence 'lift up reverse' but if u buy a new gear knob that is for lift up reverse cars then u will be able to use the one that is already on, u may be able to get them, but i have neve seen replacement lift bits for lift up revese cars anyway, u just change the knob. Te gate isnt really a rob ust change it for anyoe u fancy u should be able get it to fit really easily

Ive got rid of the lift up reverse thingy because i lurve my gear knob and didnt want another one, takes a bit of getting used to as 1st and reverse are so close
