hello, my cars been fucked for quite a while... engine wise, been in two minds what to do about it.
thought about an engine conversion and yesterday thought a bit more about that. thought i might get something with a 2.0 16v in it, i like astra GTE mk2 drive that around for a bit, dont mod it or anything then shove the engine in my corsa. okay so i got down to some insurance quotes, the cheapest i got right now was £4.5k! thats me, 19, no NCB.
so i tried me as 20, 1yrs NCB which i will be in august and was £3.5k... what should i do? i was thinking i could get a GSi corsa, cheaper insurance etc then swap the engine, but i know id end up keeping that plus still have another fucked corsa laying around.
i need a really cheap doner car basically that i still wanna drive around for a bit. any ideas or insurance companies that are good would be cool to tell me! (tried www.confused.com) cheers!

Get a 1.0 or 1.2 Corsa for a couple of years.
My plans for a Tigra are also fucked because of the no claims shite. Gonna wait another year then try again. Oh well, just have to pup up with the 1.1 for now
