Just want to know as i have a de cat on with the 2ltr but have no idea what year of engine it was and where it came from. so does anyone now wot wud happen when my mot comes as its very soon

i think you can find the age of the engine from the engine no. stamped on the block.

and how do u find out the year from the engine number??? is there some kind of website or somet?

mine is a 1990 engine and i'm sure it had a 90 in the number. coincidence are the manufacture date?

yes, coincidence, give vaux a call with the engine number and thgey can tell you
