I've got a 1.4 16v sport and my bhp was 100 when I had dbilas flowtec system installed. Doing the rolling road again this Friday as I've had a new ecu programme installed which should increase it to 115bhp.

I agree with vibrio as I spent £1500 on mine when it would have been easier to drop a 2.0L in it. If your prepared to pay the insurance then this is the best thing to do.

its possible to see 180bhp from the 1.4 unit with throttle bodies. There are a few turbo 1.4's coming around at the moment, and i know that craigs is being re-built so he can up the boost. would be interesting to see reliabilty as well as power.

Kieth Piper had his running about 200bhp. I think the engine was pretty fragile, and no use for a road car though, as it went bang

the most you can get is approx 200hp per litre from a race tuned engine, so that's 280 but that would be pretty much a whole new engine
