I wanna open a new account for saving and general use money I will transfer from my current account to this to use for xmas presents car stuff, insurance, tax etc...

So will need a switch or sumant, not sure what to go for and if there are any bankers online help me

HSBC......i got meself a switch card......and u can do online money transfer...but you have to activate it......cant remember how to do it

Abby is also good. My sister has an account woith them and she said she got a few quid intrest. Not sure how much money she has so i dunno how good it is

No deffo not! I use that as a bank just to pay bills and spending money and they gave me 40p then charged me 30p TAX

It's a good bank though, not had any probs with them

i had a £50 overdraft for a few years and then wanted to increase it and they were being difficult about it making me feel bad for asking for it, i told em to fucking leave it then and got a credit card... wankers

TSB is a really good bank IMO. I've had my account since i was about 7 and just upgraded it as i got older

Opened up a savings account with the Halifax as i wanna buy my flat one day without a morgage

If you are leaving the money in the account for some time then you are better off with a building society as the interest is much more. The TSB and HSBC are both banks i think
