I cant find any more info on the net on them?
How do they cool the air down? They use Co2 or just Oxygen or summat?

They use Co2 to cool the fuel lines and intake pipe down... Not sure on what power gains they can possibly give though.

How though!! 
Do they have jets firing CO2 against the pipes? Or is it just a constant stream of co2 thru channels around the pipes?

It works in a similar way to a fridge.
You have the gas compressed in a bottle, when the gas is released from the bottle, through a cooling element in the air intake pipe, it looses energy that it gained whilst being compressed on the bottle, this causes a drop in temperature of the gas, thus cooling the element fitted in the intake pipe.
This will cool the air flowing into the inlet manifold quite a bit, and cause the air to have more 'colisions' with the fuel when the fuel ignites...
Thats the theory of it, but I am sceptical about if you would get any decent powergains from it...

It would only be necessary in very hot climates. The negligible power increases on a mild English day would be wiped out by the extra weight. Unless you run a very high boost turbo.

18PSi with a top mount intercooler means 70+degrees charge temps
I'm attacking the prob from all angles, without spending £300-400 for a bigger intercooler

Well, the C02 Kits cost nearly £200 so your better off savinbg your money and getting a proper job done... Or try getting a second hand FMIC?

FMIC on a 306 = ££££ and lots of work (rad moving, bumper mods, new slim line fans etc).
Bigger Top mount IC with custom manifold outlet = £3-400
CO2 = Most efficient drops, cheap to reful bottle, and i'm looking into a full kit @ £150.

Isnt the CryO2 stuff about £300 for the base kit, and then £100 ontop for each component?
I was gunna get some for the TMIC on my 306 until I saw the cost.

Well done on keeping an open mind and trying all possibilities. Doing this sort of thing on a tight budget is so much more rewarding than just throwing ££££s at it!

I considered the CryO2, but I'd need to buy the full kit, which is a lotta money.

TwistedSanity.com do a full CO2, WITH BOTTLE with everything u need for £250. Only £3 to fill up an 11lb bottle too!
